Scurvy is a disease of the infants and the main cause of this disease is the deficiency of vitamin C. This disease is also known as infantile scurvy and scorbutus. Indian gooseberry and sugar are a very effective herbal treatment for scurvy. The powder of Indian gooseberry and sugar should be concocted and mixes thoroughly. One tsp of this concoction 4 times daily would fade the symptoms of scurvy in a month’s time. Indian gooseberry can be used with milk also for treating scurvy. The method is the same as with sugar and the dosage is also the same. Drink this four timed daily and relief would come in a month.
