This disease can be life threatening if left untreated. Though, medications are available in other forms of treatments; however, herbal medication is the safest resort to recuperate from this illness. In women this disease could affect the breasts and the vulva also; although, this disease affects the genitals seldomly. This disease is medically called W. bancrofti, Brugia timori and Filariasis.
Garlic is supposed to be and is a very good herbal treatment for filaria. Though, garlic smells abominably and the taste is acrid; however, if the juice 4 cloves of garlic are imbibed for a month the symptoms of filaria would be resolved in a month. Since, this is an herbal treatment no side effects are seen and so it can be taken without any medical consultation. However, one should be careful not to mix medications.
