As the name suggests Esophagus cancer is a carcinoma of the esophagus and it is a fatal cancer. This form of carcinoma eventuates in the inner layer of the esophagus. The length of the esophagus is ten inches long and like other cancers it is very difficult to detect it in its benign stages. However, the foremost symptom is the trouble in swallowing. This cancer or carcinoma is also known as Esophageal Carcinoma and Esophageal Adenocarcinoma.  The chewing and smoking of tobacco and heavy alcohol abuse are held responsible for this carcinoma. Symptoms may also include the expectoration of blood, neck pain, weight loss and hoarseness in the voice. Radiation and chemotherapy work at times; however, there is a better treatment for this disease in herbal treatment.

The roots of the astragalus plant are a very good herbal treatment for esophagus cancer. 60 Gms of the root powder of this plant should be boiled in 300 ml of water for half an hour. Drink the cooled and strained potion for 5 months daily. This potion should be imbibed thrice daily and the condition of the cancerous cells would deteriorate in 6 months. Though, if the cancer it detected in its benign stage then complete cure is possible by this herbal treatment.
