Herbal treatment for Hansen’s disease

Hansen’s disease is also known as leprosy and is a skin disease. In this disease the skin of the affected part gets sores and the starts to decompose. The features get contorted and the person becomes repulsive. In earlier times this disease was considered to be a curse from God; however, not anymore. The pathogen, which causes this disease, goes by the name of Mycobacterium leprae. This disease has two variants Tuberculoid, and Tuberculoid and the latter one is more formidable. Keeping affected people in a leaper’s colony is very inhumanly as medication does exist for Hansen’s disease and especially so in herbal treatment. Incidentally, this disease is rampant in tropical and sub- tropical countries. In this disease a person tends to loose the sense of touch and becomes frail or feeble.
Neem or margosa is a very good herbal treatment for leprosy. All you need to do is make a pate of about 150Gms of neem leaves with coconut oil (pure) and massage it on the affected area thrice daily. This would reduce the further progress of the disease in a month and if used longer it would resolve the issue. This herbal treatment is of Eastern origin and has proved its potency over thousands of years.
