Brachytherapy; is the last resort for cancer of any sort. In this form of treatment laser beams are utilized to kill cancerous cells. The prognosis has given some good results; however, it all depends on the stage of the cancer and cancer cells an only be killed in the initial stages which is rare. The variants of cancer which can be treated by Brachytherapy or radiotherapy are “Prostate cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, and coronary artery disease”. Incidentally, this form of treatment is also known as radiotherapy. It has also been observed that this form of treatment increases the life span of a person and has minimal side effects. However this kind of treatment is out of reach of a common man. Nonetheless, there is an herbal treatment for this disease. 

Milk thistle is a very good herbal treatment for any sort of carcinoma or cancer and is a better, cheaper potion than radiotherapy. The extract of milk thistle (150 Gms) should be taken thrice daily to the ailing person and the symptoms of any cancer would be resolved in a fortnight. There are many other diseases which be cured by milk thistle; however, they would be dealt with later.
