The combination of these two can be horrendous to the person sleeping next to an ailing person. Snoring is something which has been combated by mankind from time immemorial; however without avail. Apnea is referred to something which is a natural occurrence when a person sleeps and the muscles of the body tend to relax including the muscles of the nose which disrupts the proper flow of air. This occurrence is known as sleep apnea and needless to say a person in this situation makes a noise loud noise; enough to disturb anyone else around.
Various ingenious methods have been tried to suppress snoring; including snoring chinstraps. These work; however, they don’t give the person sleeping person blissful sleep. It has been observed that the mouth of a snoring person is usually open in sleep and for this snoring head straps have been tried; they too work, however the wearer always complains of discomfort. The bottomline , here is that a warm glass of milk should be given to a person who snores, as it is a natural sedative and sleeping immediately after meals should be refrained from. It has been reported that this has helped a score of people.
