Toe Nail Fungus

Fungus can attack any part of the body; however, toe nail fugal infection is the worst. Once, fungal infection sets in the toes; it usually proves to be an incurable malady. In America itself more than 10% of the populace suffers from it. However, it is rarely found in kids unless ofcourse one or both the parents are inflicted with it. It has been observed that the most rampant fungi’s are Candida and dermatophytes. Incidentally, Candida is a yeast infection. Both these funguses attack the nails, however, dermatophytes go for the toes. If the fungal infection is mild then can be treated with the aid of anti-fungal creams and lotions and if it happens to be a severe fungal infection then chemical antibiotics may be required. However, the safest treatment is herbal treatment. Incidentally this fungal infection is also known as Nail fungus or simply fungal infection.

Lavender is a very good herbal treatment for toe nail fungal infection.
