The human brain has two parts conscious and subconscious and they command almost all the parts of the human body. Continuous supply of blood is needed to the brain for its proper functioning and if a clot is formed in any part of the brain the result is hemorrhage and leads to necrosis. This could prove to be fatal if not treated immediately. This condition is also known as stroke; the shortage of blood supply to that part of the brain may lead to death of that part of the brain due to ischemia. This disease leads to the total destruction of the nervous system; however, on most occasions it has been observed that “Advancing age, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking and Atrial fibrillation” give impetus to this disease. Nonetheless, this disease can be cured by herbal treatment.
Asian ginseng is known for its propensities to make the walls of the blood vessels strong and so it a very good herbal treatment for a stroke as it prevents the clotting of blood and dissolving the clot. The extract of Indian ginseng (150-200 mg) should be taken daily to lessen the chances of brain attack. Apart from this Indian ginseng have aphrodisiac properties also for both genders.
