This disease is genetic and the skin is unable to secrete melanin. The disease goes by other names as well like Albinos, Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome and oculocutaneous albinism. Melanin is what gives your skin, hair and eyes their color. If there is improper production of melanin; then a person would become colorless and look pale. There are two kinds of albinos; type 1 and type 2. The 2nd one is caused by a serious defect in a gene called p and the 1st one is entirely due to the improper production of melanin. This disease is very apparent as it is visible.
Basil leaves (Tulsi) is a very potent herbal treatment for albinos. This is because have a propensity to purify blood. They act as an expectorant also. Basil leaf tea is a very effective herbal treatment for albinos. The patient should drink basil tea as frequently as possible. The symptoms would fade away and stop deteriorating in 3 months. This plant is considered holy in the Hindu Pantheon and has many medicinal values. This plant is worshiped morning and evening by a pious Hindu. Some may even refrain from plucking its leaves; inspite of knowing about its medicinal values. However, it is of great value.
