The nose tends to bleed in Epistaxis and this ailment is also known as nose bleed or bleeding from the nose. The nasal cavity is very tender and is always moist; the nose tends to bleed because the nasal passage becomes dry and the skin ruptures. Such a happening is known as epistaxis. Although, a common cold may also result in a nose bleed. In such an event the head should be held upright; to lessen the loosing of blood. This could result in the congealing of blood and the eventual stooping of blood flow. The application of a cream would help in moistening of the nasal passage and healing the ruptured walls of the nasal passage. However, there is an herbal treatment for nosebleed and it is very effective too.
Onions are very good in stopping a nosebleed. All you need to do is to chop a big slice of onion and place is near the nasal cavity. For such a thing to be done; the person who has a nosebleed would need to lie prone on his/her back. The symptoms of nosebleed would stop to immediate effect. This herbal treatment is of Eastern origin and is very ancient. In other words this herbal treatment is time tested and side effect free.
