The term Halitosis means foul/bad breath. This condition is all too common. It is sad but true that most people who suffer from bad breath are not even aware of it. Unless; ofcourse they are fervent smoochers. The other way out is to smell your own breath; by the simple procedure of cupping your hands and breathing out through you mouth. If you don’t like your own breath; then you can imagine what the person you are talking to would think of you. Halitosis is enough to make people shun you. The opposite sex is sure to remain far away you. However, there are some proven herbal remedies to combat Halitosis.
The usage of fenugreek is a very herbal remedy for Halitosis. Tea made of the seeds of this herb should be drunk on regular basis to ward off bad breath. Boil one litre of water with a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and imbibe it. Avocado is a very potent herbal remedy for Halitosis; as it tends to destroy all the bacteria of the intestines. Raw guava is also very effective in treating Halitosis. Guava has malic and oxalic; which destroy all the foul breath causing bacteria. All the aforementioned herbal treatments for Halitosis are proven and safe.
