Bone fracture; could either be hairline or compound. In the former fracture the break in the bone is like a hair; hence the name. However, in the latter fracture the break in the bone is a huge one. Elderly people are prone to fractures as the bones become brittle; this slows down the recuperating process. However, in younger people the fracture heals faster. A small fall of an elderly person could lead to a fracture; whereas a small fall by a younger person would result in a bruise or a sprain. This is the reason why young moms give their children calcium; so that their bones become strong and stay strong even in old age. Wearing a plaster is not always feasible; so the best way out is herbal treatment.
Chrysanthemum is nature answer to anti-inflammatory chemical drugs like Morphine and Piroxicam. You would need to boil about 6-8 leaves of Chrysanthemum indicum in 300ml of water for 25mins. Drink the cooled filtrate thrice daily for a month and the fracture would heal naturally in a month. The extract of chrysanthemum has been use in age old folklore medication and the annals would vouch for its medicinal propensities. The extracts reduce the inflammation; hastening the joining of the fracture.
