Impetigo is a disease affecting children in the form of blisters on the neck and face; that is why it is also known as school sores. This is a summer disease and two bacteria’s are responsible for this disease. Streptococcus and staphylococcus aureus; they affect children who are on the verge of going to school or are already school goers. An abrasion or a cut in the skin gives impetus to this infection; scratching aggravates the condition. A good example is poison ivy being infected with Impetigo. This disease can be treated with antibiotics; however, herbal treatment is the best for children. The allergy to certain chemical based soaps and creams also leads to Impetigo.
White cedar flowers are a very good herbal treatment Impetigo. The fresh petals of this flower needs to be made into a paste and applied to the affected place four times a day for 4 days. This herbal treatment would turn the tables on Impetigo. Goethe Plant is also considered a good and safe herbal treatment for Impetigo. The botanical name of this plant is Bryophyllum pinnatum. You would need to boil about 20 leaves in a cup measure of water for 40 mins. Then cool, strain and drink it four tines a day. The symptoms of Impetigo would go away in a week.

Juvenile Arthritis is also known as Oligoarthritis. It is not just one ailment; it is compilation of many ailments. Medically this disease is known as Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). However, the swelling and pain of the joints is prevalent in all. The symptoms would differ in each type of Oligoarthritis though. There are three main types of Oligoarthritis and they are Pauciarticular, Polyarticular and systemic. In the first condition only a few joints are affected; Infact, lesser than 6. However, in the second condition more than six joints could be affected. Subsequently in the third condition the whole body could be affected. The use of Epsom salts is a very good home treatment for the cure of Oligoarthritis. A hot compress with Epsom salts of the affected area would make the pain and inflammation go away without the usage of painkillers. This ailment goes by the name of infantile polyarteritis. This Kawasaki disease is of Japanese origin and children are the ones who suffer from this. Incidentally, it is a heart disease. More than 3000 children are affected from it every year; amongst which 70% are below 4 years of age. This disease affects the mucus membranes and can lead to swelling of the blood vessels. When there is an inflammation in the kidneys it is termed as Nephritis. This is a serious ailment and it can either be chronic or it can be acute. It mostly attacks children and youngsters. The symptoms are quite obvious in the form of pain in the lower back, yellowish urine and continual or frequent fever. The other obvious symptom is puffiness of the face. Chicken pox occurs usually in children (3 to 4 years of age) and is very contagious. The attack is severe in older children. The symptoms appear in the form of a rash on the skin and it is red in color. Though, they appear usually on the upper portion of the back and chest. In really serious cases these spots may appear on the face and scar it or life. In other words if the attack is severe the person would become a scar face. They keep occurring and drying up till seventeen days. The sore ripens fast and has a wet exterior.
This ailment is treatable herbally. Brown vinegar is very essential in treating chicken pox. Add half a cup of brown vinegar to Luke warm bathing water; this would give relief from the irritation of the ailment. An oatmeal bath stops the irritation caused by chicken pox. A few other herbal remedies for chicken pox are the use of boiled green pea water and baking soda. The child should be given a sponge with baking soda; so that when it dries up the child would refrain from itching.
