This disease is also known as Dacryostenosis. In this disease there is an obstruction in the ear duct. Popularly this disease is known as blocked tear duct. A duct by the name of nasolacrimal is responsible for the tear slow in the eye; a blockage in this duct could be the result of an infection in the lachrymal sac. Either there is no tear slow or there is continual tear flow from the eyes. Both the conditions are fatal as the eye is a very tender organ of the body.
