Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome or SARS is a viral infection and the symptoms may vary from person to person; however, gastritis and sore throat are the main symptoms. Nonetheless, the body temperature rises above 38 °C (100.4 °F) and it is a common symptom to everyone who is inflicted with this ailment. This is a contagious disease and close physical contact like smooching and using the same unwashed utensils could lead to this ailment. Other forms of treatments are there; however, herbal treatment is the best. Incidentally, this disease was initially diagnosed in Asia in the year 2003. Since it is a new born disease; there is no authentic cure for it; however, herbal treatment has helped many people.
Garlic is a very good herbal treatment for SARS. Though, it is foul smelling; however, you would need to chew a clove of garlic every evening or as an alternative eat 3 garlic cloves with bread just before retiring to bed. If you choose to suck garlic cloves then make sure you swallow the saliva to get good results. Ginger is also very good in treating Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome and the medication is the same as garlic. These herbal treatments are of Eastern origin and are time tested.

Abdominal distention simply means; a distended abdomen. It is a very common ailment and is the outcome of a succulent repast. Pregnancy is the most natural way of abdominal distention. However, the involuntary inhaling of air could also cause abdominal distention. Premenstrual cycle can also lead to a distended abdomen. Nonetheless, the most common cause of a distended abdomen is gastritis. Nutmeg – Myristica Moschata – Nigella Sativa- This herb is all too common and very effective in rheumatism and other muscular pains. It acts as an anti anxiety herb also with the added effect; that it is not addictive.
Nopal – Nopalitos – Nopalitos (nopal cactus) this herb contains insulin so it is very good for diabetic people. It can combat obesity, gastritis, skin disorders and various infections.
Oatmeal – Oat – Avena Sativa. The fiber in the oats is fibrous and is good for cancer patients. It has the propensity to reduce the acid in the bile. It even slows down the digestion of starch; which produces sugar and is fatal for a diabetic person. Oats are rich in proteins and nutrients.
Oregano – Origanum Vulgare- If you have an upset tummy; then oregano is the herb to intake. It is good for all kinds of aches and very effective in athlete’s foot as well. It is widely used as a breath freshener and it good for the gums.
