The liver is not damaged in the real sense of the word in this disease; however, flu like symptoms is apparent in this disease. Though, the liver would definitely get enlarged as an aftermath of this disease without the vestige of a scar. Vaccines and oral medications are available for this disease; however, herbal treatment is the best for this disease as the liver is a delicate organ. Further, the water one drinks should also be germ free.
