Pressure sores or bed sores (decubitus) are abrasions and sores with inflammation. They occur because of pressure caused to a specific part of the body; especially where the bone protrudes. These sore are rampant with disabled and bedridden people; as they are unable to change their position in bed without aid. They are curable ofcourse; however, only if detected in the benign stages. It should be noted that if they are detected late; the affected person’s life may be at stake. This is because bed sores hinder the supply of blood to the affected area. The most affected body part is the lower region (below the waist).

The disease of Pyorrhea is also called Periodontal. It is an ailment of the gums. This is a rampant disease. This disease loosens the gums and as an aftermath the teeth start to fall. A foul odor comes from the mouth; due to the formation of pus. This is the reason why most adults tend to loose their teeth. Due to this disease the gums tend to become tender and fill up with pus. As the name suggests it is a disease of athletes. Tennis elbow is medically termed as lateral epicondylitis. It is a joint pain and the tendons become vulnerable to any strain due to this. The swelling in them could cripple a person if not attended timely. If the tendons happen to rip apart; then one could get tennis elbow. It is also called tendonitis. Any strain on the joints could be a very painful task. The joints become so painful that one cannot move them easily. A small thing like holding a glass would become a Herculean task. Remember negligence could prove fatal.
However, some handy home and herbal treatments are there for relief and cure from tennis elbow. Cold compress in the form of ice pack is very effective in reducing the inflammation and pain. Edema or oedema is an inflammation of that part of the body from where fluids cannot be secreted. It but natural that in such an event the body starts to swell. This ailment usually occurs below the knee joint. This being the case walking becomes an effort; as the flow of blood is disrupted and things deteriorate fast.
