Malaria is rampant wherever there is stagnant water. This is more so sub-tropical and tropical countries. The female anopheles mosquito is the main cause of injecting the malaria virus into the blood stream of a person. This it does by sucking blood of a person; thus putting in the virus and then sucking the blood of another human and giving that person the virus. Chicken pox occurs usually in children (3 to 4 years of age) and is very contagious. The attack is severe in older children. The symptoms appear in the form of a rash on the skin and it is red in color. Though, they appear usually on the upper portion of the back and chest. In really serious cases these spots may appear on the face and scar it or life. In other words if the attack is severe the person would become a scar face. They keep occurring and drying up till seventeen days. The sore ripens fast and has a wet exterior.
This ailment is treatable herbally. Brown vinegar is very essential in treating chicken pox. Add half a cup of brown vinegar to Luke warm bathing water; this would give relief from the irritation of the ailment. An oatmeal bath stops the irritation caused by chicken pox. A few other herbal remedies for chicken pox are the use of boiled green pea water and baking soda. The child should be given a sponge with baking soda; so that when it dries up the child would refrain from itching.
The above mentioned herbal remedies are proven and side effect free. Besides, they are cost friendly also. The many people who have tried these herbal remedies would vouch for their efficacy.

The ear is perhaps the most sensitive and delicate part of the human body. Especially the ear drums. In the course of daily life; foreign matter tends to accumulate in the inner part of the ear. This impedes hearing to a very large extent. Cleaning the ear with an ear bud is sometimes not enough. Actually speaking the ear bud; just about removes or cleans the soft dirt which is accumulated inside the ear. On most occasions this not enough. If you afford the hefty bills of a doctor; then it is alright. However, even a doctor would provide some chemical ear drops. In the long run these ear drops would do irreparable damage to the ear drum.
Nonetheless there is a very simple, cheap and practical home remedy for such a situation. All you need to do is warm virgin mustard oil with a few garlic pieces (peeled) and drop a few drops into each ear; with the help of an ink dropper. Do this before bed time and lo in the morning; all the clogged matter would come out of the ear automatically. Then you can do the rest with the aid of an ear bud. This is an age old proven remedy. So, you do not have to worry about any side effects. However, be sure that the concoction cools down to room temperature first. The reason behind warming it in the first place is that it is intended to absorb the soothing elements present in garlic. Moreover garlic is such an item that it is present in every household.

If a person happens to be bleeding profusely and the doctor is not handy. Then the person might bleed to death. The best thing you can do at home is to wrap crushed ice in a soft cloth and place it on the bleeding area. Repeat this application till the time the bleeding does not subside. The ice would cauterize the blood and coagulate it. This would prolong the life of the person and he/she would stand a better chance to be hospitalized. However, if surgery is required; then you would need to act very quickly. Nonetheless, you can manage to save the life of the person by using ice.
