Schizophrenia is a grave mental disorder and the symptoms include hallucinations and deliriums. The name of the disease is of Greek derivation and the meaning of schizein is to split and phren refers to the mind. Autism is also known as ASD and PDD. It is a mental disorder and is a challenge for counselors the world over. Autism means that the child has a keen interest in something weird. It is challenge for counselors as it becomes difficult for them to utilize the talent in a proper manner. If this feat is accomplished then it has been observed that such children turn out to be prodigies. This disease is more prevalent in boys rather than girls.
