Osteoarthrosis is a disease of the joints and it is a severe one at that. The bending of the joints causes excruciating pain; though it is seen in people above the age of 60 on most occasions. Medications, inheritance and obesity give impetus to this disease. The cartilages of the joints are most affected in this disease. The fluid which lubricates the joints decreases their output. This fluid is known as synovial fluid. This causes the cartilages to become obsolete; thus causing pain and inflammation. This disease is considered by many as an auto immune disease. Obesity is the worst that can happen to a person suffering from Osteoarthrosis. However, there are some herbal treatments which have proven their worth in controlling Osteoarthrosis to a great extent.
The herb Alfalfa is very helpful in suppressing the symptoms of Osteoarthrosis. The herbal treatment requires one to boil the seeds of Alfalfa in 300ml of water for 30 mins. This needs to be taken thrice daily for a month. After a month the symptoms would disappear. Celery leaves are another good herbal treatment for Osteoarthrosis. These leaves have the propensity to give relief from pain. The leaves should be boiled and consumed just like Alfalfa.

If there is a swelling in the planter fascia; then the disease is called plantar fasciitis. In this ailment the feet experiences excruciating pain. This disease is more prevalent in pregnant women, overweight and diabetic persons. Planter fascia is that bone which extends from the heel; right to the fore foot. So, one can imagine the effort involved in walking. All age groups suffer from this ailment; though, it is the middle age group which is more affected by it. Since, movement is restricted; one tends to become obese. This obesity worsens the situation. People suffering from this disease experience shooting pain in the foot; especially in the mornings.
Whoever, is suffering from plantar fasciitis; must make certain their diet consists of nutritious food. As, an herbal remedy; therefore green leafy vegetables must be included in the staple diet. Another herbal treatment for plantar fasciitis is to eat plenty of Apples. Since, apple is rich in iron and other vital nutrients; it very good for a patient of plantar fasciitis. Mangoes have the ability to give you a good bowel movement; so by eating plenty of ripe mangoes you would ensure that no excessive fat is stored in the body. This is good because obesity could worsen things.

If the skin undergoes friction; the result is chafing. Two body parts rubbing against each other or the rubbing of your clothing against your skin could also lead to chafing. It is a preconceived notion to many that it is a signal of weight loss. Chafing usually occurs in the sensitive parts of the body including the private parts. This ailment is rampant in athletes and people suffering from obesity. This ailment causes soreness and irritation and at times it is painful too; as the skin tends to smart. However, there are some precautionary measures which could help you from getting this ailment. You should avoid sweating and keep yourself dry.
As, an herbal remedy; you should use herbal talc. If you are in the habit of using lubrication; then use the herbal one. Use this lubricant between the toes of you feet and the fingers of your hands. You should include Vitamin A, C and zinc in your staple diet. The other home remedy which is very helpful in treating chafing is washing the affected area with mild soap and Luke warm water. Keep the affected area clean and covered by using a band aid after applying some anti bacterial cream to it.

Nutmeg – Myristica Moschata – Nigella Sativa- This herb is all too common and very effective in rheumatism and other muscular pains. It acts as an anti anxiety herb also with the added effect; that it is not addictive.

Oatmeal – Oat – Avena Sativa. The fiber in the oats is fibrous and is good for cancer patients. It has the propensity to reduce the acid in the bile. It even slows down the digestion of starch; which produces sugar and is fatal for a diabetic person. Oats are rich in proteins and nutrients.
Oregano – Origanum Vulgare- If you have an upset tummy; then oregano is the herb to intake. It is good for all kinds of aches and very effective in athlete’s foot as well. It is widely used as a breath freshener and it good for the gums.
Papaya- Papaya is very good for the stomach; as it contains antioxidants, vitamin C. This being the case it nourishes the endocrine system. Besides it contains potassium, magnesium and calcium. The intake of Papaya on a regular basis would give you a glowing complexion.
