Rheumatism is derived from the Greek dialect “rheuma”. In Greek it simply means inflammation. It could occur in any part of the human anatomy where there are tendons, muscles and ligaments. Before meals if the juice of raw potatoes is taken (2 teaspoons) it will ease out the pain and suffering. To add to it; the peels of potatoes is also very beneficial for rheumatism. Boil the peels in about 500 Gms of water and let it cool. Then strain it and drink it. Drink this three or four times on a daily basis. You are sure to get relief from this natural treatment. Though, the taste of the coming herbal remedy for curing rheumatism is very bitter; however, bitter gourd and honey when mixed together provide the much required relief to an ailing person. The treatment is slow though; however, three months would suffice to get a lot of relief form rheumatism. The imbibing of lemon juice is also very helpful in rheumatism. The other very useful herbal remedy for rheumatism is the eating of walnuts. However, to get the optimum benefit; the walnuts should be thoroughly masticated. If you do not masticate them properly; then you might end up with indigestion. Celery has also shown its efficacy in this disease. About 8 drops of should be taken before meals in hot water.
