The definition of hot flashes is the sensation of warm flashes which starts from the head and gradually spreads all over the body. Needless to say profuse sweating and flushes are experienced in a situation like this. These flushes do not last for long and can be experienced for a few minutes to half an hour. Women above 40 years of age, who are still menstruation, are ones who are more susceptible to it. The exact reason for these hot flashes has not yet been established; though many authorities claim that this occurrence is due to hormonal changes. Whatever the reason might be; these hot flashes cause a lot of discomfort while they last. Needless, to say there is no authentic cure for this malady in other forms of medications; however, herbal treatment has a very good treatment for hot flashes. The symptoms could be insomnia and profuse sweating. 

Sage leaves and honey are a very good herbal treatment for hot flashes. Sage leaves should be boiled in water for 15 mins (1 handful). Aster the potion has cooled down, add honey to it and drink it four times daily. The symptoms of hot flashes would fade away in a week at the most.

Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis; simply means profuse sweating; people tend to sweat even when they are resting in a cool area. There many cause which can be attributed to the cause of Hyperhidrosis; they could be “Acromegaly, anxiety , cancer, certain medications, glucose control disorders,, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, lung disease, menopause, Parkinson’s disease, pheochromocytoma, spinal cord injury, stroke, tuberculosis or other infections”. The abuse of alcohol and drugs also lead to Hyperhidrosis. However, if there is some other medical factor which is responsible for profuse sweating then the condition is known as secondary Hyperhidrosis. However, the former condition is very rare and is known as primary Hyperhidrosis.

Tea is a natural herbal treatment for Hyperhidrosis; as it has tannic acid. This acid has the propensity to act as a natural antiperspirant. You need to boil a quarter of water and add 5 tea bags to it. Put the palms of your hands into this tea after it is fully soaked and cooled. Thirty minutes would suffice to lessen the sweating of you palm and heels. You can repeat this treatment as often as it is required; depending on the condition. As an alternative tea bags could be held in the palms of your hands for 20 mins daily and it would be very helpful in treating Hyperhidrosis.

Galactorrhea

Galactorrhea is a disease when there is production of milk; when it is not natural. In its natural state; milk is produced in the final trimester of pregnancy. This is done by the Prolactin hormone; which is secreted by the pituitary glands present in the mammary glands of a female. If the level of the Prolactin increases for some reason then milk is produced when not required. This condition is known as Galactorrhea. Primarily it is an ailment of women; however men and children can also suffer from it. If the breasts are caressed more than required or if there is some malfunctioning of the pituitary glands then the result is Galactorrhea. However, there are some natural and herbal treatments for this disease.

Kochia fruit or Di Fu Zi is a very good natural and herbal treatment for Galactorrhea. However, it needs to be mixed with wine to show its efficacy. The powder of the fruit needs to be mixed with hot wine and then imbibed. However, it has to be made certain that the dosage does not exceed 10 Gms. The symptoms of Galactorrhea would fade away after profuse sweating. The dosage should be appropriate otherwise the treatment would result in a person getting drunk.
