The eye is the most vulnerable part of the body and Cataract happens to be the most common disease of the eye. In cataract the pupil of the eye becomes unclear; instead of remaining clear. The vision starts becoming impaired slowly. This requires immediate medical attention; otherwise the person with cataract could turn blind. Modern medical science is all in for laser therapy; however, in the long run it damages the eyes. There are other forms of medications as well; however, herbal treatment for cataract is the safes and best. Besides, it is side affect free and natural. Though, the treatment would be a bit prolonged.
One of the most common herbal treatments for cataract is the usage of carrots. The ailing person should eat a lot of carrots daily. However, the imbibing of carrot juice is a better option. Two glasses a day would suffice. Garlic is also a very effective herbal treatment for cataract. Though, it tastes awful and smells abominably; however, the patient would need to chew two or three cloves of garlic everyday. Remember to masticate it properly before swallowing it.
