This could transpire with anyone as on most occasions it occurs while one is in deep slumber. It is usually nocturnal happening and the person is not aware that such a thing has transpired. In simple words it is spontaneous. So, the person concerned cannot be blamed directly for it; as it is no fault of the person. There are two stages to this; the first is primary and the second is secondary. In the primary stage a person wets his/her bed everyday and in the secondary stage; it becomes sporadic.

However, there are certain home remedies to alleviate this problem. One hour before bedtime it is advisable to imbibe 6 to 8 oz of cranberry juice. Causticum is also helpful in treating bedwetting. Further, lycopodium, ursi and are also useful as far as bedwetting goes. Massaging the inner thighs with St. Johns Wort oil is also a very potent home remedy for bedwetting.

The postponing of urination during the day is also a good way to control your urge to answer the call of nature involuntarily at night. The bottomline is one has to practice retention control. The other thing is to make sure that you do not imbibe too much of liquid at night as nature cannot be averted from its normal course.
