Herbal treatment for Cicatrix

Cicatrix is a skin disease and is an aftermath of some wound or abrasion. This disease is also known as Keloid scar. The wound may heal; however, sometimes the scar remains and at times some cream or ointment would help; however, if the scar refuses to go away then surgery may be required and if you want to avoid surgery then there are some herbal treatments to remove these persistent scars. In other words consulting a dermatologist would ultimately lead to surgery. These ugly scars depend a lot on the kind of wound one has suffered. Treating them chemically could worsen the situation. So, the safest way out is herbal treatment.
Tea plant oil is an effective herbal treatment for Cicatrix. The oil should be gently massaged on the scars regularly for a month. It has been observed that the scars fade away. Lemon is also a very potent herbal treatment for Keloid scar. You would need to apply fresh lime juice on to these scars and they would fade away in a week’s time. This is because lime is a natural bleach. Almonds are another good herbal treatment for scars. The oil of almonds should be applied to the scars in gentle strokes thrice daily. You would notice that the scars tend to fade away in a week.
